Research update - hamstrung and tongue

I've been getting my daily word quota and, on some days, a nice bit more, and have hit 28K words out of an eventual 90K or so. Don't ask me where the rest of them are going to come from, however; the plot is zipping right along. If I was following the three-act structure, I'd be deep in the second act. At 28K.

The research of the past several days has mostly involved additional searches trying to find out how one walks after one's hamstring is severed, and details on cutting/pulling out a tongue.
