I was wondering how you are and thought I'd harrass you, as you haven't been on Ni90 for a while ;)

And so that I don't have to harrass you, in future, I'll add you to my f-list, too, if that's okay. I can't understand why I didn't do it before to be honest - I probably thought that I had and did it wrong. That's what I usually do.

I decided that, since I had hit an (at least at the moment) insoluble plothole in Satisfaction, my pirate novel, I would withdraw from the community until I had something new to work on. I'm still a member, however, and still see the posts.

At the moment, I'm working on a rewrite of an earlier novel, with the hopes of sending it off to an agent who had expressed interest in yet another novel but ultimately decided not to represent it. Growth as a writer means that, when I opened this novel (it's called Shape, for In the Shape of a Man), I realized it needed a lot of work before I could send it off. *g* My crit partner has patiently examined several versions of that opening scene; I have some specific things I'm trying to accomplish, in addition to just getting the story started.

Anyway, friend at will. I can't say my journal is a hive of activity, but what writing thoughts I have, I post there.

I had a feeling that you would still be seeing the Ni90 posts but as you hadn't posted in a while, my curiosity got the better of me!

Good luck with the rewrite - it's sounding really promising, especially if you have a clear idea of what you want and where you're going. I'll be cheering you along whenever you do post about it, be assured!

My journal is updated fairly regularly, most of it of no interest whatsoever, but it keeps me off the booze.... ;-)
