Advice from a High Place
Or about as high as I'm likely to trust in giving advice, anyway.
My Dove chocolate candy just advised me "Don't think about it so much."
Heh. That could apply to so very many aspects of my life right now--the day job, where we're dealing with a new administration and their records management, case management, and evaluation initiatives, all of which I'm hip deep in; the first part time job, landscape design, where I've agreed to sit on the board of directors for a couple of years; the second part time job, writing, where I seem to be stuck in forever rewrite mode and can't catch a new idea or new character to save my sanity; and the home life, where my husband has taken a pay cut and changed careers, is going back to school, and is trying to figure out what his goals for the future are, and my son is preparing for prom this weekend and graduation in another month.
Thus far, very few of those balls have fallen and bonked me on the head, but I'm having to juggle as fast as I dare just to keep up. I just wish I knew what I could downsize on!
Endurance. That's the ticket. Focus on the short-term goals first - prom, then graduation - and worry about the longer-term ones afterward. That's all I can do.
That, and eat more Dove chocolates. ::grin::

No Calories and Breathing
Breathing helps get through the hectic stuff.
