885 for today, bringing the total to 2559. Progress! I'm getting closer to Martha's voice, too, which makes me happy.

Mean things: damage done during the leap from the train is finally revealed.

As much as I'd like to ditch the Martha narration and switch over to someone who can actually talk, I'm still thinking the POV should be Martha's. She's got the most to lose. I'm sure Jody will get his moment in the limelight. After all, I know how to be mean to him. >:-)

Most of my work has come in a single POV, but the previous book was narrated Jody/Jezra, and I expect Jody will get screen time here. There are things he'll understand that Martha just wouldn't.
