Bookkeeping: Lynch
Jun. 9th, 2012 09:51 pmWell, it's not
novel_in_90, but it'll do. Herewith begins an attempt at accountability for the novel working under the title of Lynch. I've been working on research for the past couple of months, since finishing up the first draft of Lynch's predecessor, Switchback, and I now have a rough plotting outline and, beginning yesterday, some actual wordage. (What I don't have, alas, is the narrator's voice, but I'm getting antsy to start putting this down on paper. The voice will come. That sense of urgency is too valuable to waste.)
I'm going to shoot for 1K words a day, and will do my best to post the day's numbers. Feel free to throw bonbons or brickbats as appropriate. >:-)
***
6/9/12 - total new words 505, for a total of 862
Mean things: preparing to jump from a moving train; worry for one's companion's successful landing; lack of trust.
