Today, I had a walk-on character hijack the scene, and he's now camped out, determined not to be left out of the fun.

Here's hoping that my current POV character doesn't get upstaged. The new guy has potential.

I imagine the event you describe was pretty damned amazing.

They did one piece that calls for 40 voices, in 8 groups of 5 parts, which was the centerpiece -- or actually, the book ends, as they did it at the opening and again for the closing. The Houston Chamber Choir was augmented by university groups just for that.

Thanks to that concert, which I found out about through a tiny ad in another event's program, I found the other early music groups in Houston through their ads in the program.
