Progress report and Rain
Sep. 5th, 2008 07:33 pmWe are at this very moment enjoying rain from Hanna, the second of this season's tropical storms to pass through this area of Virginia (following Fay). Let's hear it for hurricane season! Erm, as long as you don't live on the Gulf Coast. By this time tomorrow, I expect to be richer by 3-6 inches of rain, and my yard will once again be green. By the time it needs to be watered after that, perhaps we'll be graced with the remnants of Ike.
When I went out back to make sure the garage drain was clear, I found an enormous brown moth on the side of the garage door. I was almost tempted to try putting it in the garage to weather the storm.

Progress has been made on Break, though not as much as I'd like. I keep vacillating between "oh, man, there's not enough pace and tension in this scene" and "how the hell am I going to keep up this pace?" I finished one scene at least three times. At the moment, I'm satisfied with it, but who knows how long that'll last.
