I tried. Re-ally. I even have a photo (on both my computer and on my Flickr account) and everything...but can't figure out how to load the damned thing. LJ's FAQs are not helping. Anyone want to help out a poor idiotic author?

Nope, still get blue question mark. Is it maybe a problem trying to post a Flickr URL?

Chris, go to your flickr account. Click on all sizes on the picture you want to use. Pick small or medium and view it. At the bottom of that page there is a box of code for that picture. Copy the code, not the url. Paste that in the posting box for LJ.

The picture will show up that way. Don't use the insert image thing, that doesn't work. Just pasting in the code works for me every time.
