(Speaking of form rejections, what I got back in my SASE was a card from the agency, Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, without the name of the agent queried or the date of the rejection, so I'm counting from the postmark.)

(My note as to music and mood explains the haunting only to myself; know that that album is what I wrote Cavalier Attitude to. However, it's not Dimo who is haunting me, only his setting. What that means, I can only guess at.)

Yeah, it's scary. I don't truly know what I want from this path I've started down. I look at the life Bear's leading--a hundred tight deadlines and having to put up with perfect strangers chattering at her--and shudder. *g* But I've done scary things in the past, and will again, and I want to see if I can do this, you know? I'm testing myself and my skills. I want others to read about the people in my head, and appreciate their lives the way I do.

So...publication would be a justification, but I know better than to set publication as a goal. Therein lies only misery.

C'mon in. The water's fine, and the drop off is not for a while yet. *g*
