I had hoped it was only a temporary problem, but Bartleby.com appears to still be down. I first noticed the problem Friday night. I hope it comes back up soon. I miss my online thesaurus!

Hey, it's the weekend. Someone will get to their Bartleby.com office Monday and have a squillion "where'd it go, woe?!" e-mails alerting them to the downage. Or, it's a server problem.

Yeah, that's what I figure the problem is, too, but one never knows. I tried to get to a page that worked in order to find a contact link, but could not. ::shrug::

Regardless, I have both a dictionary and a good thesaurus here, immediately to hand. I shall stop whining and try to dig up some words. *g*

Let me know what you think of the panels' comments and assertions. I was on the verge of asking a question in the alt history one--does the event where the history diverges from our own time stream have to be on the screen--but decided that the answer would only be "the only rule that matters is, does it work," and kept my mouth shut, but I'd love to have someone else to think it over with.
