AIM for Mac?
Dec. 22nd, 2008 07:45 pmHey, all you Mac people out there - have any of you downloaded the new version of AIM built specifically for the Mac? Have you had any problems with it, or heard of anyone who has? I'm loathe to download something that's going to cause me grief when I already have enough stuff to be dealing with.

Date: 2008-12-23 01:31 am (UTC)Adium is a client that runs AIM and almost every other IM setup that you can think of at the same time, so you can be signed in on everything at once. It's pretty nice and very stable, and fairly customizable. (I have a GIR icon set from Invader Zim. heh.) And it doesn't have ads or any of the other junk that AIM throws at you. It occasionally has issues with file transfers, though, if you use AIM a lot for that.
